I’m so excited to share this beautiful Prospect Park, PA wedding!! Courtney emailed me a few weeks before their wedding looking for a photographer, and after talking with her I couldn’t wait for their big day. The bride and groom portraits were one of the most important things to them, which is always exciting for a wedding photographer. They also really wanted to include their amazing German Shepherd, Callie, in the photos, so that was a double plus for a dog lover wedding photographer like myself! We started the day at their adorable home where Callie gladly gave her mom and dad loving in between chewing on her tennis ball. Next we headed over to Ridley Park Lake for their portraits. Courtney was a champ – it was a freezing cold, January day, complete with some snow still on the ground, and she was still all for getting these photos! When I asked Courtney and Brian to describe themselves as a couple to me, they answered that they make a great team. You can totally see that shining through in their photos. You can tell how they can be equal parts romantic and goofy, and how they love just being with one another. After we all had just a touch of frostbite, we made our way over to the courthouse so these two could get married! All of their closest friends and family came to cheer them on, and it was so touching to see such a packed courthouse. Brian and Courtney had waited seven years for this moment, three of those as an engaged couple, and you could just see on their faces how much this meant to each of them. They ended the day by celebrating with their loved ones at Casey’s Ridley Park, and by posing for just a few more pictures :)
A huge congratulations to Courtney and Brian – here’s to the beginning of a long and happy marriage!
