This had been my first time getting to meet Laura and Brian after a consult phone call and lots of emails, and can I just say, this engagement session made me so, so, so incredibly excited for their wedding!! These two had been friends for years before the timing was right and Brian finally asked Laura out. He surprised her by proposing to her in Fairmont Park, and well, obviously she said yes! They are just both so clearly, inarguably and passionately in love with each other, and it is wonderful to get to witness. You can tell from the way they look at each other that they make each other feel whole and that there is no where that they would rather be than with each other. I mean, just look at these two!! They can’t get enough of each other. They have a kind of love that makes a stranger excited for the two of them. I can also tell from our three hours together that their wedding is going to be one of those dream weddings that is just full of smiles and laughter.
We started off their engagement session at the gorgeous Tyler Arboretum in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. We had a lot of ground to cover before sunset, and these two were troopers – they made it so easy for me to rush them around to different spots to make the most out of each location. Like I said, they just ooze love, and it shows in their pictures. We flew from one end of Tyler Arboretum to the other, taking advantage of the unique bridges, colorful flowers, and epic trees
Next, we went for a more metropolitan vibe in downtown West Chester. We hung out near the historic courthouse – I love incorporating distinctive architecture into photos!
Our last stop was Stroud Preserve, just outside of downtown West Chester. We got there as the sun was sinking in the sky, which made the river and rolling fields stunning backdrops.
